# Chord

Show connection volumes between groups as ribbons inside a circle.

Canonical: https://chart.syidax.com/docs/components/chord/

<a id="overview"></a>

## sy-chord

Compare relationships such as movement between regions or collaboration between departments.

Many connections cause ribbon overlap. Focus on key relationships or use a Network Graph alongside it.

Base chart tier: Pro. Features such as additional renderers and custom branding have separate entitlement requirements.

| Input | Data description |
| --- | --- |
| `data` | { links: [{ source, target, value }] } or a link array. |
